Watched this lad again last night and he has never failed to impress me hes pure quality and i have no doubt if we dont pick him up he will defo b at one of the big guns in the next two years, hes got all the qualitys to make it and hes only 19....if Ipswich fail to get promoted i dont think it will take much to get him....We could even sell pongolle and Mellor (although he has done pretty well recently hes not gonna be in the same league as bent in a couple of years) to help fund the transfer of this boy wonder.....Just seein Baros Cisse Bent and Morientes/Anelka as are four strikers in would be fantastic. Thats me one and only crimbo wish.....Sorry 2, win the champions league as well!!!!!

No doubt about he has great first touch and a wicked shot (what a goal last night!!) but how much would he cost,he is young, good and english which usaully means big bucks!!!!!!

Believe (or is that hope) that Ipswich are in financal sh!t if they dont get promoted so a decent bid should get hold of him....Id just hate to see us miss out on another homegrown talent, still gutted from not signin defoe, how hes at spurs is a travasty!

i think thats pretty much a deffo, along with wigan (imagine that - wigan in the premiership! almost like another derby game). they're gonna do everything they can to hold onto players like that. its the only chance they'll have of not gettin fried in the prem.

I have family down in Suffolk and they tell me they have never seen a boy of this quality, he's def no young prodigy like Dyer and Co. He is the real thing.

Why do we want a guy from Real Madrid, who is sitting on their bench like Nunez did, whilst Owen Bangs the goals in, that makes no sence to me. If he was a first team regular at the age of 28 and banging the goals in then yes, go for him, but he aint and he aint up to it in my eyes.

Rather see Anelka who won the lot with Real and Bent as one for the future. Now they would be signings of quality, not a spanish misfit sitting way behind Owen.
