i also like wales, i got p*ssed for the very first time on a welsh caravan holiday when i was about 12....after a while i thought the caravan was flying for some reason

Thailand has the longest place name , Most thais call Bangkok "Krung Thep" but its full name has 163 letters and I can't be ar sed typing them out .

Scotland and N Ireland are hardly going to invent their own language as they already have one albeit nearly extinct but there is a huge effort going on to resurrect them

it would be hypocritical of me to be a nationalist as Ive lived in london and Liverpool totalling six years and have travelled to a lot of places but I believe in my own language as it is my first language

In modern society the world is getting smaller and more uniformed and English is the worlds dominant language I accept that totally but I believe that its important for all cultures all over the world to retain their heritage and pride. Welsh is Europes oldest Living language and has a huge cultural past which I think would be a shame to give up because of the easy option of just speaking English. Wouldnt it be easier for you to adopt a middle of the road accent like the many staelite towns around London have, maybe why bother with the history of your City is it important anymore in this new technichal age of ours?

All over the world there are thousands of languages and cultures that live within dominant cultures which is why if you ever have the privilege of travelling you can experience this for yourself and see the importance of respect and tolerance for all manners of human culture throughout. The worry for me is we all end up as neither here or there people and you can see that developing now and I think it would make the world a poorer place.

Plus it was only up to a hundred years ago that people were jailed for speaking welsh plus the impact we have had on the world as a whole and even your city by the way

There are numerous internal debates and I am anti Nationalism as I find it divisive and intolerant but thats for another day

And with your half welsh thing as well you should be proud of the varying cultural history you have coursing through your veins but somehow I reckon youd swap it all for a copy of Grand theft auto

I hope after he finishes school he goes wandering the earth I reckon he's too good a guy to end up in some call centre

ive already ended up in Some call centre, on weekends ... but i think im gonna get sacked soon
