M o t d - A few notes

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Watching MOTD there, a few things I noted:

1) Andy Johnson - maybe there is more to that lad than meets the eye. He looked like a real good player at St Marys, he can run, shoot, head, he is brave, strong and he is scoring goals.

2) SWP - see above. I keep thinking he will get found out, but all the time he pulls something else out of his locker. Looks a superb prospect.

3) Mike Reilly - the worst excuse for a referee I have ever seen. Villa's penalty was nearer the half way line than the penalty box and Hendrie sending off was laughable.

4) Bryan Robson - ******.

5) Scholes - maybe he is not finished after all. I hate Man U more than the next man, but you have to take your hat off to the lad, he is a total footballer. If he had been a bit more outspoken and dated other women, surely he would have been bigger than Beckham.

6) Diouf - a dispicable sorry excuse for a footballer.

7) Chelski - nailed on for the title surely. They look awesome at times, and Duff looks a great player. We will never get him as they would surely not let him go.

8) Arjan De Zeeuw - good man, is he a scouser? He sounded like Jan Molby in that interview. His dismissal of the spitting incident is a breath of fresh air in a game where players go down and roll around far to often for my liking.

9) Favours - we have been done a few today, Bolton and Villa both beaten, a win tomorrow (come on it might happen) will put us to within four points of Man U, (in my opinion our target this season should be to finish above them) with a game in hand.

10) MOTD is 10 million times better than "The Premeirship".

They show highlights of a game where men compete in a competition to see who can kick a pigs bladder into their opponents net the most times :D :D

22 men divide into 2 "teams", each with 11 men. The team which can kick the ball into a big net called the "goal" the most times is declared the winner

1. Agree, but don't agree... probably at a similar level to Beattie. Good but not top level.

2. Again agree but disagree, really good player, but i'd question weather he's good enough to play in a champions league winning side.

3. Spot on :D

4. Spot on :D

5. Not bigger than Beckham, but agree he's top class and although he hasn't performed is still at an outstanding level.

6. Agree again.

7. Unfortunately you're probably right, defensively they are superb and with Robben and Duff in the side they're ALWAYS going to score goals.

8. Didn't hear what he said, but seen the incident.

9. No comment.

10. Totally :D
