From Guardian Unlimited:

Former Liverpool manager Roy Evans has been appointed as an assistant to Wales boss John Toshack.

Toshack, who took over as national team manager after Mark Hughes became Blackburn boss, has also named Salva Iriarte as an assistant. Evans left Liverpool in November 1998 after 33 years with the club.
