come on mick now thats just teasing, being all cryptic an that. now tell me what you know!!!!

or is this just a "mick hunch"?    (sounds like a packet of crisp!)
its not the chilli sauce on kebabs that give you ring-sting, its the actual meat. had one without chilli, and still had ring-sting. the chilli's only there to mask the nonsense they stuff inside that bread.

If theres any truth in this at all I hope its Robbie Keane. I think hes a top player and one of the few at Spurs who we could afford and has something to offer at a reasonable price.

Just a Micky hunch bunch for your lunch with extra crunch James I'm afraid. the nearest I get to having a contact at Anfield is George, one of our doormen (not called bouncers anymore see) is from Formby and a mad Liverpool fan. Come to think of it, he's just mad all over but I digress. Anyhow, logic dictates that as Kanoute can't get a regular game at Tottenham he'd be quite cheap. We've sniffed around after him before and he would fit, albeit a fraction 'poncily' into the target man mould. Not saying I'm right Jim it's just a guess. Ledley king (who mysteriously everyone likes now, when I suggested him a while back I got laughed off. Must have improved tenfold over the last few weeks) would cost 10 million plus, Defoe probably half as much again and I think they'd want 6 or so for Keane. All out of our league. Only other possibility is Keller if Dudek is going to jump ship.
Whole things probably all boll ocks anyway.    :D

well?

Big Jim, my sauce is in London and I have more information !!
The meeting was held between Spurs officials and Football Club officials from Liverpool the city, not the club. The guy's were from Everton and apparently they are interested in Robbie Keane. Spurs are looking to off-load, not suited to playing alongside Defoe !! They are also looking for cash to buy Van-Bommel, apparently he is a big pal of Arnnesen the real power at Spurs these days.

Yep everton your mate got that one wrong hey :D  just heard aload of scousers :D

Everton keen on £7m man Keane Nov 23 2004

By David Prior Daily Post Staff

EVERTON are keeping a close eye on the availability of Tottenham striker Robbie Keane as David Moyes prepares to go shopping in the January sales.

The Republic of Ireland international (right) has emerged as a leading target for the Goodison club, with Moyes prepared to spend around £7million of his expected £10m transfer kitty to secure the 23-year-old's services.

Despite excelling for his country and in the Carling Cup, Keane has disappointed in the Premiership so far this campaign with just two goals.

And although the struggling White Hart Lane club would want to keep him, they would consider an offer as new coach Martin Jol would then have funds to bring in his own players.

Long-term target James Beattie remains high on Moyes's wish-list for striking reinforcements come the new year, but the Everton manager would not be able to afford both the Southampton front-man and Keane. If one does move north in January, however, the other could follow next summer.

Meanwhile, Tim Cahill has warned of complacency creeping into the Goodison camp as their extraordinary season continues.

"We've got to keep thinking game by game," he said.

Didn't realise that Keane was only 23, he seems to have been around for years.
£7m for Keane and £8m for Owen, it just dosn't add up, but in the right team he is a 20 goal a season man. Could do well at Everton, supported by Graveson and Cahill, but I doubt they could afford £7m after all the money for Shrek is on the drip and they have big debts.
