Jaffa

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

For those who watched Liverpool in the late 70's and 80's a face from the past. Jaffa was one of the familiar faces around Anfield, especially on the Kop. The lad was a legend in his own time . Sad to see him going through such hard times.

Poor fecker but unfortunately he isn't the only one in that kind of situation. Fair play to the landlord as well for letting him pitch it in the back garden.

That is a GAA hat he's wearing but just cant make out exactly what club it is but it was obviously given to him by someone and I would say he was probably given the coat by the same means. He looks to keep himself clean which is probably tough under his circumstances and he doesn't look like a bad drunk or junkie so best of luck to him getting back on his feet  :nod

The most telling comment is that he hasn't claimed the dole once, he's got tons of pride. Hope he sorts out accommodation and a job asap.

Jaffa Jaffa give us a wave ,Jaffa give us a wave ,his big ginger afro was unmistakable at practically every away game. He deserves to have had a better crack at life.
