I am intrigued to know, who my fellow newkit members feel is the more important / bigger match

It is a short and sweet thread, but I am always interested to know, especially as I know many of you live in the Liverpool area

Please see the poll

I suppose it depends on your definition of 'important'.

Most important game we don't lose? Well I want us to win every game so they're both equal.
Most important for bragging rights? Everton game.
Most important for sticking the boot in? Man Utd.
Most important for league position as it stands? both equal, we need points regardless.

I love getting one over bluenoses but then those gobsh!tes from Salford need putting in their place too. Bloody tricky this is!

everton are increasingly relevant. and seeing as both the old trafford and anfield pitches are larger than goodison park then the question answers itself.

I hate the Mancs.   Everton are just our city rivals, I don't hate them though.

I despise the scum and that is who I voted for, I don't dislike Everton at all tbh, although it is of course always nice to gain victory over them

Hurts more when we lose to the Bitterz ,and seen as I have more than a couple of mates who follow the Blue shite who will  happily dine out on a Derby victory for years, then  a win for that particular collative of 'sock robbers' is fucking unbearable.

Obviously United is the bigger game in terms of profile/global audience etc but as a scouser the derby is the one you really don't want to lose. If we lose to United yes it's a sickener but no one is going to give you stick over it, lose to Everton and you never hear the last of it.

I'm not from Liverpool so the Everton thing doesn't grab me as much as Utd. Both United games set me on edge, more than the Everton ones

I absolutely love playing Everton at Goodison tho, something about that fixture that I love - I just enjoy the Everton games, I find the Utd ones more difficult to enjoy

Voted for Man Utd. I guess you really have to be from Liverpool to completely feel the rivalry with Everton. I mean, not that I don't see it as a derby, I'm always hyped when this fixture comes along, but it's not even close to the one with the scum. I hate those kunts from the bottom of my soul and nothing in football pleases me more than beating them. As for Everton, I don't even dislike them.
