Wonder how much he'd cost?

Good skill, good in the air, scores "scuffy" goals, can hold up the ball and has decent link up play. I think if he could step his game up a level if he played with better players.

Out of all the potential targets i think he's got superb ability and he's already used to the english game.

hmm intersting stu, may fit in well here. Being Colombian he would get on well with the mangaer (both speak spanish) and the other spanish lads in the team.

could be the type of player we are looking for, wouldn't want to pay anymore than 5-7 million though.

The other positive is he's different to Cisse and Baros. He's more of a target man than both of those. He could even play up on his own with Garcia, Kewell and Gerrard around him.

You might be onto something there Stu particularly as he is a different type of player to Baros and his hold up play and heading ability are excellent........

Villa won't let Angel go as they only have two strikers. [Cole and Angel]. Their main striker is out for the season.

Didd'nt the Villa shell out 9M for Angel?

We would have to at least offer them something approaching that, but when is his contract up?, it might be possible to get him on the cheap if he is on a Bosman in the summer.

Doug Ellis is a money grabbing old git too - he will be tempted by anything over 5m.

didn't we try to sign him in the summer or was it just specualtion rafa has connections with angel with angel bein at valencia when he was but rafa also sold him :laugh:

. cus he never adapted to la liga well enough but its worth a try wats there to lose
