I'm lucky enough to remember the 60s when you would meet players in the Red House in Maghull and actually talk about the game that day. You could have a moan to their face and the players would LISTEN to you.

Thet knew what it meant!!

i know i made a joke about stubbsy's balls but i would like to make it clear that i have the utmost respect to people who beat cancer and get on with their lives, just look at stubbs and lance armstrong, puts things in perspective

Absolutely, those sort of people are the ones you should look to if you need an inspiring story. Our Rowing Club has a whole heap of quotes by Lance Armstrong in the training centre

Anyone who thinks it is funny to mock somebody who has survived cancer is a moron - cancer survivors deserve tons of respect.

My only anti-stubbs thing is that Celtic stuck by him when he was sick and then he ****** off on them. Celtic deserve better than that.
