In the days of flash harry millionaires snorting and boozing it was good to see a real scouser in me pub acting responsible.

He might play for the Bluenoses but he'sa genuine football supporter and nearly came to us with McAtteer

decent player too , hard working lad who has worked his way up through the ranks to play for his hometown club (albeit the blue one

He was strongly linked to sign for us together with Jason McAteer, unfortunately he signed for the bluenose instead. Never really fulfill his potential...too bad

yeah he is a really genuine, nice guy!!

ok then, allow me to prove it...

Alan Stubbs was originally from kirkby (were i live now) MY next door neighbour was an old woman called julie, who has sadly passed away now.

her daughter is Mandy, Alan Stubbs wife (i will let you check that yourself) there ya go...
....when julie died her and alan stayed in the house for 6 months while they were waitin for it to be sold!!

ive had a kick about in the garden with him and got my shirt signed and stuff like that!
