Need someone new ?

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

When the transferwindow opens in january many clubs are very active in getting new players. Almost all the big clubs try to strengthen their teams. What do you all think about new players to LFC ? What are the needs - if any ?Any particular player wanted ?

Other than Mista or Morienties the name isnt too important too me.  But I'd like to see a quality centre-half and if kewell doesnt get his act together soon then maybe a decent left winger, whats duff going for these days?  I cant see Riise staying at left wing, he's performed creditably (sp?) but nothing more

I think everone will agree that we need a pacey centre back, but we don't need to rush it, because we don't need a stop gap, we need a long termer.

Apart from that I woulden't want Rafa to introduce any new faces to disrupte things. Only if a quality player suddenly comes available.

I think the gaffa would be wise to keep the same squad untill the summer and get to now everyone fully.

It's just his form slump and the niggling injuries.
after an ankle injury, most players are never at their best - i know this from experience cos i f***ed up my ankle a while back and its never been the same, even with intensive physio work.

and also, it not just been his ankle..other lil injuries aswell has affected his form and mentality

Duff is similar when Kewell is fit and roaring to go, but since im biased to an aussie, i reckon Kewell is better than when they are both at their best

Harry Kewell hasn't been at his best since 2001...and he wasn't even a Liverpool player then.  The sooner he goes the better.
