I would just like to make it categorically clear that the person on this forum claiming to be me is NOT me, and that the copyrighted article in question, published on R.A.W.K. on 26.10.04 and reproduced here one day later, should not have been published on this forum under the guise of someone else's work (St Mike, a regular on this forum, it would seem). It is flattering that he obviously liked it enough to pass it off as his own, but also kinda weird. I would be very disappointed if it is someone I have conversed with on R.A.W.K.

I have no problem with my work being copied and pasted onto other forums, providing correct acknowledgment is provided.

Anyone who doubts my authenticity (or who feels like offering an apology) can email me at paul_tomkins@hotmail.com (email address verifiable via my R.A.W.K. profile)

Many thanks, and good luck with the site.

(The real) Paul Tomkins

StMike.... maybe needs to explain himself, this could be genuine or it could be windup, how can we tell?

by **JBG** » Fri Oct 29, 2004 12:25 pm

I couldn't be bothered to check whether its an imposter or not but the essential message has something to it: if you cog from someone else's work give 'em the kudos.
