This is breaking news !!
I have it on good authority that joe Allen will arrive for 8m and Defoe for 13m within the next 10 days !! I'm welsh wizards agent and he's passed info onto me from melwood where he now works as a 3rd party in transfer activity !! Talks have begun and spurs will except offer of 13m and proceed to sign lorrente. Allen will be snapped up after being watched numerous times of late.welsh wizard passes his best to everyone and as you can appreciate at this time he his very busy with dealings !!

wowzers... *puts champagne on ice*

if this non story was true i'd be gutted. Llorente at Spurs would take them to another level.

Why are we not going after Llorente??

I would be happy with Defoe as he has the ability when on form to put away some of the multiple chances we are making for our strikers at the moment. May work well with Carroll and £13M not that much cash to splash in the current climate. 10-12 goals and helping us get into top 4 would see an immediate return on that £13M. In fact it would wipe it out BIG time.

the going price for Llorente have to be more that £31mil this will trigger a buy-out clause in his contract..

so i would say 35 mil might get them to the table....do we wish to spend that much money on him?

no, because quite frankly everytime I've seen him he looks no different to Peter Crouch
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road
