With the new season coming up just a question off advice to people who travel from the London area what's the cheapest travel to anfield I usually pay 72 for a train to lime street and then a cab

Suggestions ?????

I usually drive, unless im staying over the night otherwise I end up paying around that for a return journey. Trainline

Personally if i lived down the smoke I'd fly to JLA and get a cab to anfield, cab should be about £15

if anybody wants to stay overnight in Liverpool while going the game. I can get you a room in malmaison for 65 quid for 2 people including breakfast. But this is to availabillity and need 5 days notice. Good deal though

Once I went on one of those coaches that start somewhere in Folkstone or whatever (and they say most Man U fans are from Surrey :D ) I got picked up at Potters Bar service station - I honestly can't remember the cost.

Other than that I used to drive up to Anfield. Then I'd pay a little ginger Scouse kid to ''watch'' my car, great parking attendant he was. :D

Most times even if I have booked that far ahead I have got it for cheapest like £45. But thing is I don't find out if I got a ticket until 2 weeks or even 1 before the game so I usually end up forking out more.

Trainline .com or go to your nearest station and get then to do it . They can .
