So this year I was looking to set up a paypal account that for the Last Man Standing. Going to get everyone to stick a tenner into he pot so we will have some prize money come next May.

How would one go about that?

Or

Does someone else want to do it?

I've had a paypal account for years, what do you want to know? You just go through the setup process, link your email addy & bank account details to the paypal account, include a credit card for extra fluidity(so you dont pay by echeque if theres a lack of funds in the paypal account). You give people your email address to pay into your account

this would make it interesting indeed!!

how do we keep record of everything tho i.e. as in DD's not keeping half for himself and ripping off the winner  :D
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road

Sounds like a great idea to be honest.

And DD couldn't really steal any because he lists everybody that's involved in the game.  Everybody knows how many players play, so you multiply that by 10 and that's how much the winner should get. Not that that was  serious comment or anything anyway

:p

:p

Paypal charges fees to the seller I think, so the winnings would be minus that fee to make sure DD or whoever doesn't end up out of pocket.

I'll have a go even though I'm sh'ite at LMS. I'd have a better chance at Fantasy Prem.

I'm willing to put up a tenner for LMS.  Of course we all know it will go directly to the Dundalk fund.  Sorry but i can offer no advice as to how to set up the payment method. My suggestion, given past LMS history would be simple.  Send DD a tenner, in whatever form it my be, cuz he's going to win it anyway :p

Sounds good, you may want to pass it by the mods/site administrator first though. Not sure whether they can get into trouble if they are seen to organising gambling without a licence.

Probably a small disclaimer at the start of the thread stating the website was not involved would suffice.

Bav if I do all the organising can we use your paypal account??

I dont need any account numbers or any of that sh!t, if we could simply sort out some kind of system where whoever wants in can send you the tenner somehow (or whatever way it works). i can PM you whos in and who hasnt paid so we know whats going on.

And ill let you in on all my tips on how to win  :D

just give me the money, I have a PO Box, there is a small fee, which I'll keep, and I'll never pay out any winnings... but still better than PayPal  :D
