Where did you hear about flight disruptions? This one shouldn't have any similar effect to the Eyjafjallajokull one, despite it being a bigger eruption. The ash is a lot coarser than the other one so will fall to the ground much quicker, also there are no winds like there were previously to carry it over to us ect...

At the very most id expect some Trans Atlantic flights to be diverted away from Iceland but that's it. 2 or 3 days it will be sorted, the plume is getting lower last I heard.
My new blog for my upcoming holiday.

you said flight disruptions, the first thing I thought about was it disrupting Barca's chances of beating Man U in the CL final...
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road

Yellowstone is a super-volcano. It erupts once every 600000 years.

Last time it erupted more or less... 600000 years ago  :Oo:

Ash cloud will cover the world for a year or more, plant life will die so will people from the poisonous ash and others will probably die from starvation, its catastrophic! The last time a super volcano erupted was 600,000 years ago
