Reina - 7.5 Not much to do but incredible distribution
Flanagan - 6 Jonas gave him problems
Carragher - 7 Another clean sheet
Skrtel - 7 Played well again
Johnson - 7 Glad to have him back
Maxi - 6.5 scored a lucky goal, but disappeared
Lucas - 7 Had points where he was great and points where he was missing
Spearing - 6.5 Basically same as Lucas
Meireles - 5 Am I just expecting too much from him now?
Kuyt - 8.5 Another hard shift and great game. MOTM
Suarez - 8 First half was very slow and I was expecting that it would be his worst game for us so far. Second half he showed the little Uruguayan that he is.

Carroll (Maxi) - 6 Not much to do but did it.
Shelvey (Flanagan) - 7 Actually did a lot for the time he had.

Reina - 7 - not a lot to do
Flanagan - 6 - I said after 30 minutes he needed to be moved as Jonas and Enrique were giving him a hard time, I actually thought he did better in the second half at left back, partly because he wasn't put under much pressure. He is still a kid and to his credit he didn't hide. It was also nice to see him play some decent through balls, he has an eye for a pass.
Just put today down to youth and experience.
Carragher - 7 - organised back 4 well
Skrtel - 6 - not really tested, their forward line is very average to say the least
Johnson - 7 - did well second half and stopped their major threat, looked tired last 20 minutes
Maxi - 6 - did okay, can't remember too many bright moments apart from the goal though
Lucas - 8 - one of our best players
Spearing - 6 - poor first half and not much better second, worked hard but not enough quality
Meireles - 6 - not one of his better games
Kuyt - 8 - MOTM worked his socks off as usual, often that isn't enough but when combined with some quality he deserves credit
Suarez - 7 - some touches of class, needs to keep it simple at times there is nothing wrong with just holding up the ball and laying it off, lost the ball or gave it away countless times in the first half and that didn't help when they were causing problems down our right hand side, we lacked someone to hold the ball up

Subs:
Carroll (Maxi) - 5 - worth bringing him on just to wind up the away fans, looked very rusty to be honest
Shelvey (Flanagan) - 6 - slotted in okay at left back, strange he has played there in his last 2 appearances though
Cole (Suarez) - 4 - Hardly touched the ball as he came on very late
