We need a top quality no nonsense defender, someone like John Terry. You know we had a chance to get him in 1993 as a youth thingy :blues:

As for a striker, we need a Torres

but then we dont gots money up our ****** so nevamind

Here you are talking about that we should not get any more Spanish players because of miscommunication due to different languages, last time I checked Argentina speaks Spanish.

Morientes could be a possibility depending if he gets to start for Real in more than 2-5 games this season. We could get him on a loan like Monaco did to test how he would play in the Premiership.

as people have said before we have 4 solid midfield couldnt we get 2 defenders
and a striker
is that all we need
would having our 3 spanish guys and gerrard work on midfield?

I think midfield is ok
we have Kewell Garcia Alonso Gerrard Hammann Nunez Warnock

I think a new Centre Half is a must and i think RB knows this to as he was looking at a few before the last deadline!
Also i think that a forward is an area we need to address but i'm far from dismissing Cisse or Baros but after them 2 it looks very light!
Mista looks like he might be target but its all media hype i'm sure the gaffa has is eyes on a few people!

What do we need.......................money!

I know some people hate the commercial side of things (I love the history and tradition) and want to stay at Anfield, don't sell the stadium name etc. But, IMO the Board need to start running the club like a multi-million £ company rather than a family business.

I'm not on about selling us down the river, but Liverpool FC have been left behind in the Board room and lack big company experience. Read some of GH's book about the Granada investment, Arsenal got loads more than us before they'd achieved anything, but David Dein negotiated and got more for less.

If we get some cash and give Rafa time I believe we'll improve.

There won't be loads of action during the transfer window.

Maybe one big signing. But we shouldn’t rush and buy players just because we can. We have to find the right players at the right price.

I would like to see a Centre Back with genuine pace or a Striker with physical presence.
