Reina -7 some much needed saves ...although his distribution was at times poor
Kelly - 9 for a player of 20 to look so accomplished at OT his performance can only be classed as outstanding
Skrtel - 8 brilliant throughout lunging into blocks and throwing himself into vital interceptions
Agger - 7 albeit from the naivety of gifting United and their resident rat a goal he was otherwise excellent
Aurelio -7 proved implicitly how much better he is than the haphazard Konchesky
Kuyt - 8 Give him a wall and he will run through it for you
Lucas - 8 Needed to keep his head when Gerrard went and did so with swagger ,he was everywhere earlier and needed to be
Meireles - 5 poor from the off and offered Lucas little in the way of a competent partner ....
Maxi - 6 battled well in the earlier stages and always useful on the ball ,but sacrificed to give the team more pace
Gerrard -6 looked fluent but allowed himself to become frustrated with Carrick's clumsy challenges and always looked likely to depart
Torres - 5 looked a spent force and extremely fragile when in possession

Subs
Babel (Maxi) - 6 Babel inspired a roar of support from the pub I watched it in ...and that speaks volumes
Shelvey (Meireles)- 6 Shelvey tried some impossible balls and shots at goal ...but he had the confidence to try ...
Ngog (Torres) - 5 held the ball up considerably better in his short stint than Torres did all game

Reina - 8- made some suberb saves
Kelly -9-my MOTM outstanding performance yet again young man! has to start on a regular basis for me-he's earnt it.
Skrtel -7 best iv'e seen from him in mounths.
Agger -7 played well with MS,good going foward great to see him back. just hope he stays injury free now,we have missed him.
Aurelio -6 played well in parts. good free kick. passing was good.
Kuyt -6 worked hard,better from him today,but some of his passing was wayward at times. good attitude.
Lucas -6 played ok,especially after SG was sent off showed a good attitude,to team spirit,but again did give away some silly free kicks in dangerous posistions.
Meireles -5-not his best game,but i do like his attitude,wants to do well whevever he is picked to play.
Maxi -5 played well in parts,i just wish he showed abit more conviction going foward.
Gerrard -6 (up untill he was sent off of course) same he lost it for a split second,as that cost us the game imho.
Torres -5 is it just down to body language? i don't know,but i'd still pick him atm cause the service to him will improve,as today after SG was sent off,sadly so did the service to him dried up.

Reina - 8, pulled off some great saves, the thing that let him down was passing the ball out into the wrong areas at times.

Kelly - 7.5 did well, bit shakey at times but in all
Skrtel - 6.5, some bad marking at times but made up for it in other areas.
Agger - 7 needs to get the ball moving foward more.
Aurelio -6 needs more games.
Kuyt - 6, poor passing let him down a lot
Lucas - 4 very poor passing, lost the ball when he had it, not a good game from him...and he has had some very good games this year.
Meireles - 6 good to start with but let himself down in the passing
Maxi - 5 not a good game for him. did he know he could go into their half?
Gerrard - 4......yes 4, very silly to get sent off, we understand why he did it but its to high risk.
Torres - 4, very poor, poor on the ball, poor off the ball, his poor body language is not helping the team

Subs
Babel (Maxi) - 6 looked fast when he come on, shame he can not shoot
Shelvey (Meireles) - 6 did well but needs to keep the ball more
Ngog (Torres) - 6 looked bright to start with, did not get much time as we was being pushed back by our poor passing from 70 mins to 90 mins

Reina - 8 As usual, some great saves that kept us in the game.
Kelly - 9 Excellent performance, first choice over Johnson now..
Skrtel - 7 Strong and made some great blocks
Agger - 7 Good defensive display, brought the ball out of defence in a Hansen like way a few times to.
Aurelio - 6 Unlucky with his free kick, he slipped when he took it.
Kuyt - 6 Did okay and worked his socks off as usual. We so need a right winger though.
Lucas - 6 Was caught napping a few times on the ball but looked better than in recent weeks.
Meireles - 5 Wimped out of the lunge from Rafael that might have got him sent off. Lead to Gerrard making his lunge.
Maxi - 6 Better performance but we so need a left winger with pace.
Gerrard - 6 Was leading the way and looked reborn but the red mist got the better of him.. Shame.
Torres - 5 Not good enough, we needed him to show more after Gerrard got sent off.

Subs
Babel (Maxi) - 7 Looked inspired by Kenny, I have high hopes for Babel for the rest of the season.
Shelvey (Meireles) - 6 Did reasonably well but showed inexperience with that daft free kick which could have put them under more pressure.
Ngog (Torres) - 5 Fairly anonymous when he came on.. We so need a new striker!

Dalglish - 10 Impressed with the impact he has had on the team and organisation on the pitch. Loved his comments after the match and especially loved to see the positive substitutions. King Kenny is back!

Reina - 6 Some great saves and nearly saved the pen, but unusual poor distribution
Kelly - 8 MOTM kept giggs quiet for long periods for one with so little experience must be first choice for RB
Skrtel - 6
Agger - 6 unlucky for the pen
Aurelio - 7
Kuyt - 5 headless chicken poor passing and was knackered at 70 mins
Lucas - 5 same old same
Meireles - 5 poor game bottled a couple of tackles
Maxi - 6
Gerrard - 2 Poor tackle red was harsh but he should know better
Torres - 3 Desperate for him to score and fire on all cylinders but sadly he looks like he wants away

Babel (Maxi) - 6 Surprised by his attitude can Kenny bring us the real Babel
