i have tried very hard to take a side step this time, i was a bit fed up of being stuck right in it all last time....and got banned.

every one knows my view on the new and old manager, they also know how i feel about some of the things said to other members.

there are some good members getting bans and good members just leaving.

and theres not many of us old members left that still post a lot.....wonder why lol

this place will pick up again, once things on the pitch improve. It might not happen until we've got a new manager, but things will improve over time. The always do on this place, swings and roundabouts.

deserved yes, but he was a good poster nonetheless. very opinionated and holds strong view but can give as much as he can take. made the forum a more lively place.

s@int wouldn't have asked for his account to be deleted if he wasnt banned to begin with.

dont get me wrong, i have also been on the end of a Cig Rant but and the same could be said then for what she did and if she over steps the line i hope she will be delt with just like other members.

I just think that in the last few week its not been about football anymore.

look you all know the stick i took during the take over thread, but only a few times did it move to an area that was nasty, yes have a pop at me but as soon as someone said hope your family gets killed, i lost it, yet nothing happend to that member, yes they took the post down after 30 mins, but that was the member doing that and not the mods.

i felt like i was fear game during that time, and even when members were posting post from other forum that i had made under another name
(they did not know it was from me) and saying how spot on it was, if i then made a commenton here under my name about that post i was a :censored:

.

so yes sometimes i see the funny side of it all but sometimes they step over the line and all should be delt with in the same way , no matter what that member has done in the past.

to be honest lakes, i think you're a good example of the way people should behave on this forum. yes you've posted some krap but no more really than a hell of a lot of other people

, and you received a lot of abuse for it, some of it way over the line of acceptable behaviour ,especially in the takeover thread like you mentioned. however you always seemed to just take it in your stride and realise that this is just a forum with words on a screen, and never rose to the bait. good on you, mate.

Some on here claim they are fans but fuk me some of the disrespect dished out to the manager, the team, members on here is a joke. I've got to that point where I no longer watch what I say. Why should I? no-one else does. 6 years I've posted on here and for 5.5 of them I've enjoyed it very much but the last 6 months has been cr@p and I will NOT watch my mouth and be told what I can say and can't say.
