how many of you remember a year or two back when mick was just about the most respected football poster on the whole forum? do you really believe he's gone from that to being a wind up merchant twát in a short space of time? and do you really think he's deserved the amount of personal abuse he's received over that time?

i'm not going to go as far as to say the mods (or some mods, or even one mod) only card and ban those who aren't still in love with rafa, but there is certainly some clumsy and unfair modding going on.

yep he was the most respected but then i came along and unfortunately he had to play second fiddle to me thats why i dont think he liked me that much. But i did try warning him yesterday about going on far to long in his bust ups.

people are getting bent out of shape, bav, because certain other people who have themselves gone from being decent posters to nobheads have also been looking for reactions from people without receiving so much as a slap on the wrist.

Bav you have to admit you haven't helped matters yourself at times with a bit of fishing and throwing matches - its exactly what I mean by everyone needs to hold hands up and accept a portion of blame for current flame wars all over the place .

And I have held my hand up and said I was guilty of the same at times. But I was never as relentless as Mick, that's the difference.

Bav there is no difference , there is no one who is more guilty than the next - it's all relative - even a simple wind up can cause as much problems as a constant one , we all need to step back a little and take a look and realise and yes I am including myself in all this . I posted a stupid avater and was rightfully pulled up for it as it would only cause trouble .

I have no problem with stepping back but some people don't want to, that's the point. I remember in your GYBS days you would go on and on back and forth in the same manner as Mick mate so yes I am fully aware of how relative it all is.

But it's also partly self inflicted from Mick. As was mentioned above we don't mention Roy to wind people up, on the other hand that's the only reason why some mention Rafa. It is what it is mate, it's an internet forum and there will always be a difference of opinion.

Bav the Xmas carols is a perfect example - they were posted just to get a reaction . I had the exact same convo with maxpax and he said the same things as you but from the other side of the fence - so that's both sides claiming the other is more guilty ?! Never ending circles - tit for tat, wind up for wind up with it just escalating till the place just implodes

Look mate there have been plenty of tit for tat arguments on here over the years, this is nothing new and there will probably be many more in the future. The key is don't take it personally. I don't really give a rats ar.se what someone things if I have something to say ill say it. But to be honest a lot of what gets said on here is all tongue in cheek. This is just a classic example of people taking it seriously.

What do you propose, that we all just agree with each other so as not to start a confrontation? How many times were you carded or banned before? Everyone gives as good as they get around here. I think you are reading into it too much.

Chill out mate ffs it's an internet forum, people going on in here like an innocent man is facing the electric chair or something. :laugh:

2) Whether it's a series of "snide remarks" (as if Roy hasn't also been the subject of them, ffs), a grand p!ss take or a witch hunt, all inhibit the smooth functioning of the forum: but only the snide remarks (or at least those that make mention of Rafa) have led to a ban.

Not so sure about that Andy

I found last couple of years of Rafa reign with terms like Happy Clapper , your rose coloured supporters to be rather worse then abuse. Whether it was intention or not and not saying it was all Big Mick's doing but I found that all rather belittling and really put this place into warzone as it divided people.

Maybe its just the Aussie in me but I found that label rubbish snobbish and self indulgent where ones status on forum was more important then anything else

All this supporters wanted to be prove right even if Liverpool fail could have easily applied to anti-Rafa's last season in that regard.

That being said some of rubbish about Roy this season especially his press conferences would be enough to drive anyone to distraction.

Mick probably deserved his ban but I dont see why some of people on other side of the fence got away with just a card or so but thats the mod's call

End of day it a internet forum ffs
