We need a good few central defenders and apart from the usual suspects Ayala, Collocinni etc maybe we should take Zander Diamond from Aberdeen he's a very good defender and very young too. He's Scottish which might bring us some success and possibly (tongue in cheek) a new Jocky Hansen!

and why do you think that? the chelsea boss has stated on numerous occasions that he is happy with his squad and dosnt want to sell anyone, he wants to have to players for each position, so gallas is still an important player for them

I think Gallas would go if the move was right as he's rarely played at centre half for Chelsea these days. He threatened to leave in 2003.

Arsenal and maybe Man UTD would fight us for him though, and Bobby Robson was also interested in him last summer.

that's what i thought jbg. he played left back against us on sunday and before that he had a spell at right back. considering he's a specialised centre half, he can't be happy playing second fiddle to terry and carvalho all season.

Do you think Sir Bobby might try and get him in at the right price for gardening etc ...

Gallas is definately too good to be a "squad-player". He`s got to be unhappy with the situation at the Bridge, specially considering his great performance all through the last premiership campaign. I would be surprised if they can avoid a "riot" at Stamford Bridge, when players like Robben, Mutu and Gallas are way down the pecking order. In addition to them one would think that Cuddicini isn`t gonna put up with being benched for too long either.

Zander Who? Gallas is a tremendous player, but unavailable.

Josemi i would say is pretty ordinary, nothing spectacular.

Gallas is superb. But as i said last season, pipe dream!
