Tailspin - Or is it

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

It appears we have a new "now" word...Tailspin

Are we in a tailspin, were we in a tailspin when the season started ...Is this tailspin just the continuation of last season's tailspin or is this just a the anti rafa spin doctors way of spinning a tale to implicate others for the failings of the new management......

Is a tail spin or spinning a tale or just a great big yarn....

or yawn :sleep

its a build up of everything that has happend over the last 15 years. if you have a club that year after year you get one bit wrong and another bit right then sooner or later you will have a year when both bits turn out wrong, that year is now.

lets hope well pull up from this Tailspin
and hope the tail dont snap off.

I suppose it makes a change from reading about "posse" or any other group a certain person makes up and mentions on a daily basis . Oh mustn't forget the constant " fans unite "

So my post gets deleted but it's worthy of a new thread  :D

Anyway, I think wewould all agree we are currently in a tailspin? equally, we would all agree that the current manager has made a sh!te job of running the club so far? All good so far. The question is, not whose fault this season because that's Roys, but when did the tailspin start? Did it start last season or this?

Matters not a jot in many ways, but I do appreciate that for certain people their determination to prevent a discussion over the colour of the sky leads them to believe that we actually played fantastic last season.

Anyway, this season is Hodgsons fault, no argument about that.

We did lose our way last season, but I think if anyone says Rafa is to blame for this current debacle they need their head read. I dont think any other available manager could have got it as wrong as Roy Hodgson has and that is where the problem lies, its quickly became apparant that this guy has no idea how to approach a match at the stature of club he is at. He made a few good noises at the start but as soon as the business of kicking the ball around had begun he has looked like a rabbit in the headlights. He also made a couple of dodgy signings but money was tight and he had differnet areas to strengthen so I sympathise with the decisions he had to make there but £5m for Christian Poulsen was in my opinion and anyone else who had seen that guy play was a crazy purchase, this is a guy that was made obsolete at Sevilla by Didier Zokora ffs, and was too slow for Serie A! I know the last boss made a few dodgy signings for alot more cash than that but even with his injury problems Aquilani has a tonne more upside than that carthorse. I know a few of us have stated that we wanted to see Lucas show his attacking potential under a new coach but clearly Hodgson is most definitely not that man, giving him the same job as Benitez did only 20yds further down the pitch where his crazy decision making can only cause us even more problems! In fact the more I watch us the more he looks like a man copying all the worst traits of Benitez - the negative football, playing players out of position and not changing tactics and making substitutions until EVEN LATER THAN BENITEZ DID! At least Rafa pushed high and pressed and actually ATTACKED THE OPPOSITION AT HOME!

I dont want to vent anymore, I just dont want to have to watch any more of the dreck that we're playing at the moment.

Its the current manager's fault we find ourselves in the terrible state and its the manager's job to take us out of it.

When is a tailspin not a tailspin , when it's part of a master plan to convince the new owners that we are cr*p and they need to splash the cash come January.
:p

Roy is really a genius !!!
