Reina is my fav LFC player, never complained through the season last year and signed a contract extension when we were struggling.... HE IS A TRUE RED and Torres/Gerrard should take a leaf out of his book if you ask me!!! :cool:

As much as I love him, and as much as I think he is a great influence in others in the pitch.. i disagree with nanni that he should be captain. I just dont think goalkeepers can lead from so far back on the pitch. It should be a midfielder who is all over the pitch and can communicate with everyone on opposite ends.

Absolutely amazing!!!!!! What a character!!!!! Agree with Nan, could see him as next Captain of Liverpool Football Club. Hope fully not for a couple more years mind!

Shame he isn't English, the links of Almunia with England were a joke but I'd have been happy to see Reina play for England - way better than the three clowns taken to the World Cup. Isn't it ironic he is one of the top keepers in the world and can't get a starting place..................?
