Exactly. Mods should delete this nonsense of a thread trying to tell people what they can and can't do or say. People should stop taking themselves so seriously with pet hates, not everyone is going to say things you always like or agree with so get used to it.
Owzat wrote:Wouldn't it be funny (no hints woof) if a mod edited the title and then closed the thread!I think that would be apt respect of a thread that deserves none. There is a saying you have to earn respect, apparently Woy doesn't have to earn it, we are told to give it simply because of what position he now holds.
Oh and double standards, I see no respect for the OWNERS or indeed PURSLOW. I guess Purslow shares the same birthday as Owen so maybe that is justification indeed. Add disrespect of past servants/legends of LFC like Owen and Souness, as if they are spoken of without disrespect

No more Woy digs please. We are LFC not Chelsea

anyway he certainly has my support 100%, I quite like the idea of him being manager now, though I admit I found it hard at first but now it feels more fresh and exciting, I cant wait to see who he signs and then get the season going
Good luck Woy

That could be so Andy. Personally it doesn't bother me either way. Roy doesn't read this forum I shouldn't think, and if people don't believe in him or want to say his name differently, I don't think it really matters.
I certainly won't be telling anyone to "feck off and support somebody else", or telling them they are a "fecking disgrace", or accuse them of hoping against hope that the team they support will lose so that they can be "proven right". Neither, if somebody says they disagree with a team selection will I ask them where they live, or what they do for a living, or tell them that as they don't manage a professional team themselves their opinion is by definition a load of sh!t.
Everyone is entitled to their opinion on a football forum, they always were. I'm confident that even those who have the gravest of reservations about our new manager, those who insist on typing his name wrong and disrespecting him before he's had a game in charge will actually get behind him and the team in the ground and in public. They won't be secretly hoping Roy doesn't succeed and the team loses so they can say " we told you so" . I know some of them have said that already, but I'm sure they are just getting it out of their system.

So what your saying now Greavsie is your calling him Woy as a term of affection? I just don't get that mate, he's the manager of our football club and it doesn't seem to afford him much respect. I'm sticking with Roy.
