Well said lad .....and it seems to me a pertinent question the answer being a pretty straightforward nobody ...there is nobody currently providing any opposition to the current regime stripping us completely bare .... and only in due time will we be truly able to witness the devastating effect the managers departure will have on the Club.... so if I was one of the few who were campaigning religiously on these boards for Benitez to be relieved of his post I would certainly not have the fucking brass neck to propose we all wait patiently to see what transpires when it is quite obvious what is about to unfold :veryangry

I believe that's my first Very angry emoticon I have used in 6yrs on this forum .... I could blame the JDs I have necked but that would be being slightly liberal with the truth, I am just as angry sober with the current situation as I am inebriated albeit the inclusion of a lot more expletives in my posts ,and that being the case I don't care who I fucking upset
To end I would like to say I am truly disappointed with the classless clueless roots that now support this Great Club

I appreciate the anti-rafas opinion of the football failure of last season, but it wasn't sufficient to sack him.

The commercial side of the story is 10 times more cut and dry than the football side, he made money, the football success (variable season by season obviously) sustained the income of the club until we paid interest on our thiefing loan.

So what the f is the difference between Rafa and Wenger who also makes money - the owners. They could not give Rafa assurances he could continue his strategy hence he had to leave.

There is no plan B, there was no plan B, they're inability to appoint a replacement manager clearly demonstrates there never was a plan B.

Everyone is responsible for their actions. The owners, the CEO, teh MD have all declined to comment on rafa's departure. WHY ??

The thing is (speaking from a personal point of view) I had hedged doubts about his management long before this latest debacle. My faith in him was dwindling three and half seasons ago when rotation, stubborness, perplexing decsions and all sorts of fundamental basics had us court short. 'Give him one more season' I kept telling myself (and this was during an era when money wasn't all but dried up) and the season before last we came second. So again I thought 'Okay, we've actually made improvements and challenged for the league', he definately needs another season. By now H&G were at the club and most of our focus (finishing second) was on the football we had produced that season and fair enough nobody credited the two urchins for our achievement, even though Robbie Keane was signed for the best part of 20M and flogged off again six months later

. Last season though was the icing on the cake I didn't expect us to win the league but neither did I expect to see the dreadful and demorilising football our side exhibited last season. As the displays got worse so did the politics, coincidence, I think not! This for some was the perfect opportunity to cloud judgement on Rafa's short comings and from a footballing perspective it doesn't wash with me. Especially as the same side bar Alonso (who Rafa flogged off) challenged for second spot the year before. Never the less, last seasons football was a fecking embarrisment to Liverpool football club, the team moral and performances were some of the worst performances I have seen for years. The football was shocking, one bad season, yes, but as I said I personally had doubts long before this and last season cemented my opinions about Rafa taking us forward. The stubborness, to play Lucas and Mash as our CM during last season when Stevie Wonder could have seen this was an underperforming partnership. Add on top of that the purchase of Aquillani (big money signing) who was out for most of the season and even when he was declared fit was only spared games on occassions

. These are only some of the issues regarding our football and Rafa's management, I could go on but to be honest I can't be bothered as they have probably be done to death.

Our football was on the decline, in my mind there were doubts over Rafa way before things got ugly up in the boardroom. Now that things have turned ugly we are told by the morally high that getting rid of Rafa was bad for the club. In terms of our football I don't believe it was, but that isn't the argument any more is it. Those goal posts have been shifted to the political side of the club when it became patently obvious not even the most staunchest of Rafa FC fan could excuse the teams performance. So now because supporters want to see a change in coach/manager to improve our footballing position we're deemed classless and clueless supporters but the condescending yet morally high crew. Nobody on here has the right to question and make out they're a better supporter than me because they believe they're ITK or know it all supporters who believe they have the devine right to pick and choose who they think what a good supporter is.

Here we are now in limbo, Rafa's gone, the 'speculation' starts (as it would have done if Rafa were here) and those that wanted Rafa gone have been more or less chastised by the snotty nosed tw@ts who come across as the only fans who have the right to support LFC. It's our fault, even though nothing has actually happened yet :laugh:

or for whats about to happen, christ on a bike. By their reckoning Rafa should have been at the club until the Yanks were ousted, is that fair on the manager I must ask? Is it fair that the bloke should only stay because some think he can keep prying eyes away from our star players? Is that all he was good for? What about the football? Would people be willing to accept another season finishing 6th 7th 8th just so Rafa stopped H&G from selling our assets? Even if that were to happen again (finishing 7th) we would of seen the start of an exodus anyway. Is that really fair on Rafa to stay in a job when things are clearly not working anymore within the boardroom concerning the politics of the club? I think it is a big ask expecting a bloke to stay on in the position he found himself in and deal with the urchins and get results on the pitch. In the end the results and performances as were the relations with the a.rseholes in charge became worse and worse and something had to give... like it or not. I really don't care if opinions are divided and will stay divided because reading some of the condescendingITKknowitalls on here they'd have you believe they're in a position to state who should be supporting the club and not. It's one thing implying their s.hit don't stink, but it's another telling you more or less you're not worthy of supporting the club. With fellow fans like that, who needs enemies?

Yeh great post . Actually everythings fine and dandy , just want to score points tis all . Nothings wrong with the club , it was all rafa's fault and Woy's gonna come in and fix everything . Woohoo for us . Infact i find it insulting being called names because you put the future of the ckub first but heyho . Uberfans of the world unite . One thing i do agree on was ,keeping Rafa here and expecting him to keep on battleing the owners . Not fair on the fella at all . Anyway Rafa's gone , Woy's coming in , so everything at LFC is tickety boo . Marvelous.

Why is it no surprise that the Anti Rafa's think as if they

1) Lived in a closet these past 20 years
2) Still think it's 1990
3) just don't get the correlation between money and success

They will still believe a man ger can come in a make us title challengers. Probably won't change even if we enter administration or not.

It's like the same stupid igonrant argument:

"If only the players give it their all and play with fire we will win"

So if Switzerland did that then Spain would loose then...
There is a MONEY element that comes into play ffs but that just will never get through certain think skulls.

Ngog, Lucas, Insua will not turn out great players just cause they play with fire in their belly.

Why do you think Spain is such a good team?
Or Chelski?

Cause the have QUALITY in their side and that decides the winner!

great post. sums up my feelings exactly. whether or not the players are leaving we have yet to see because everything is speculation right now and no one has anything concrete because of the WC.

manager wise, well, so what if its Roy or Mark Hughes or whoever? it's the club we support. after all, the irony is that those who preach about how no one is bigger then the club are making it seem exactly the other way round.

and yes, some people should ask themselves if they support Rafa FC or Liverpool FC. they know who they are.

last season was the final nail in the coffin. for years now we had seen many questionable moves by rafa such as:

1) players transfers. an example would be Diego for 3million and he spends most of the time on the bench. i remember at the point in time we could have gotten someone like Niemi for free transfer and there were other goalkeepers with BPL experience who could easily be a back-up. what does rafa see in him we will not know because he hardly ever plays.

2) substitutions. i cant remember. there were too many. such as taking off Gerrard and/of Torres when we need to chase a win.
