I actually dont mind lovejoy anymore, well on soemthing for the weekend, sundays bbc2 hes cool.

i haven't a clue but it's going to totally change the show as i can't imagine them just bringing soomeone in the replicate what he's been doing for years. I know loads of people on here can;t stand him- but personally i find him quite amusing- especially when Chelski lose!

Never could stand him and thankful he's gone. Now I can start watching it again next season without having to put up with his 'I am gods gift' act that was getting tired after nearly a decade of the same jokes from him. I have enjoyed the show on and off for many years but I'd always go through periods of getting bored with it cos of him.
The formula has also started to get very tired and him leaving may allow for it to be freshened up, hopefully for the better.
