I know that this sounds silly, but I was reading somewhere how there are certain topics that will split a room, you know, like "do you like Marmite?", "Beatles or Stones?" and so on. But I heard that the best was finding out whether someone is a cat person or a dog person, and why.

Personally, I'm a CP. I sleep too much, I spend all my waking hours doing nothing and I'm pretty low maintanence. That's what I love about cats, hust give them a cat-flap, some food and a fluffy toy mouse, and they're set for life.

So which are you?

Always had cats growing up so would have to be a cat person. I like dogs as well though as my grandaparents have always owned dogs. Dogs are too much work for my liking though.

That would be telling, and I think I'll wait a while to spill the psychoanalytical beans.

Neither, I hate animals that are domesticated. If however I HAD to choose, I would probably say Cat, but i am referring to Big cats, ie; Tigers, Cheetahs, Jaguars etc;

Nothing better than a dog. when you get home at least a dog lets you know you where missed. a cat will only be interested when its time for a feed.

besides a well trained dog will scare the pants of anyone you want... hehe

Dogs are fantastic. Cats are selfish, greedy ba*tards that do nothing but swan around like the :censored: of the walk. I HATE cats. I have a dog, and although through some t*at mistreating him and beating the :censored: out of him before I got him, he's like a timid mouse thats just seen a ghost, he is remarkably intellegent, loyal, loving and obedient. He still sh*ts his pants when anything unfamiliar goes within 15 yards of him, but he's a happy little chap now. He is a fully trained gun dog, but he was frightened of the gun, and so ran off whenever it was fired. A complete wuss of superior interlect!

Cats rule!  Dogs are a pain in the ar$e. You go to someones house who have a dog and after 30 minutes of over-excited barking what will a dog do? Correct, try to sniff your boll@cks. Great.

A cat - Wakes up in the morning, meows at the back door to go out, open the door & boot the fker out. Job done. Cat happy.

A dog - Needs constant supervision. Turn your back and he'll chew that cushion.
         - Dog needs walking. Dog needs his smelly ar$e bathing cos he rolls around in the wet
            garden. Stinks before he baths, stinks worse after.
         - Dog will sniff your knackers. nuff said.
         - Dog will lick his balls in public. lucky dog.

Cats win it then.
