A part of me is glad this is all over ( well all except finding someone or someones to fill the gap), But I'm absolutely gutted.  I truly thought with Alonso we would see the Prem Trophy at Anfield this season.  Now, I highly doubt it.  He meant that much to the quality that this club has shown.

Well I for one am not going to be up his @rse, infact im very dissapionted in him, out of all our players he didnt strike me as the type to sh1t on us ike this, when we where on the verge of something massive. Could have give us one more season atleast. Only blessing is the amount of money recieved for him need to bring in a world class player to ease the blow.

It's good money for a player who nearly went for considerably less last year. It's a shame because he was fantastic last season, his best for us. For me he always seemed to have that extra bit of time on the ball and we shall miss his vision and distribution. But the team moves on and the fans can hopefully find another idol. Aquilani seems to be well touted as a replacement.... No nothing about him myself, but the one thing Alonso didn't have was pace so I wonder if Aquilani does?

Sh.it on us ??!? do we all  forget how he was treated by the club last season ?!? give us one more season ?!? he did give us one more season - last season . cant blame him one little bit for going and fully understand why - he gets offered the chance to go to a club who wants him badly back in his home country during a world cup year to play for a team which is buying the best players in the world - not many people would turn that down - esp spanish players . he hasnt sh.it on us one bit and has kept a dignified silence throughout and has now taken a great opportunity for himself - cant blame him for that

You can kiss his @rse all you want he was sh!t for 2 seasons injured for months , he needed a kick up the @rse he got one. And he has left us because of Rafa's pursuit Gareth fecking barry.

It's a dream move for anybody Spainish who isn't an Athletico or Barca fan. I wish him well he's been a model professional for us and we shall never forget Istanbul!
