The Alonso Thread - hands in transfer request

It will be extremely dissapointing if after all this we go on and sell Xabi for anything less than 30M...

Seems we have become too used to being mugged in the transfer market...I mean look at Munich; slapped 85 big ones on Ribery and damned everyone...
Floyd stepped left and threw the hook that caught Hatton flush under the chin. Finally, the British champ had arrived in that mythical place of which his fans speak: Hatton Wonderland.

I'd set a 48hr deadline, £30m is the price, otherwise he stays.

On an almost daily basis they come out and argue that he's effectively the palos verdes blue of ballplaying midfielders, well f'ucking cough up then eh?

Cunts.

we can't just keep saying there is some arbitrary 48 hour deadline over and over, that isn't going to work.

Ok then, a final deadline. The sort that actually does go 'dead' after the line  :D

From what I have been reading Rafa has been after Aquilani for quite a while. So I am presuming if he is fit enough he will be good enough.

I just hope we don't get caught in yet another transfer saga with Roma. Supposedly they are in the middle of some takeover bid and don't really know what their financial position will be.

The last thing we need is to sell Alonso and then find we can't sign Aquilani because they have decided to keep him.

Funny thing, on Wesley Sneijder's wikipedia site, there's a little line in his Real Madrid section that reads, "Sneijder has just signed for Liverpool F.C. for 15 million euros. The rest of the Xabi deal is ongoing."

wouldnt mind him to be honest.

van der Vaart either. :p

Well if we are gonna get anyone ,an im sure Rafa must have something up his sleeve, It had better be quick ,because after sunday against Espanyol i could be wrong but im sure there are only 2 friendlys left, before the season start, For whoever it is to get at least some kind of understanding of how we play, We need to move fast now on any of our tranfer targets, Wouldnt it be nice though that he had someone or even a couple of players already sorted an thats why hes holding out for the 30 million, IF YOU CAN SEE WHAT I MEAN, done deals but we just need that money to close them,
