I think we had this topic a while back, but don't know what happened to it.

he came on to replace chris lawler - thats a clue so you know the era.

when steven gerrard lifted the european cup he became the second youngest captain to lift the trophy ever.

who is the youngest?

maybe it was desailly then?
i`m sure it was someone in that marseilles side that won it in the 90`s
probably wrong again though.
oh the answer to the substitute question was geoff strong if anyone was wondering.

It was. Didier Deschamps is the youngest ever to LIFT the trophy, but do you know who the youngest ever captain to PLAY in the final was? I do! :)
