Just finished watching Stuttgart vs Chelsea and was very impressed with Aliksandir Hleb on the left of mid for Stuttgart. His ability to run at players consistently and his extremely high work rate much impressed me, especially for a player of 22.

Although we signed Kewell supposedly to fix the left side of mid I'd be extremely excited if we were to sign Hleb sometime in the near future. His ability to open up space at the back would tie in nicely with Owen and Baros' pace combined with Heskey's potentially large stature in the box.

Not sure how much he would cost but in my eyes an investment of 5 million pounds would be money well spent.

never seen the guy. we're more in need of a right winger really. plus, he's not french so houllier wouldn't touch him with a bargepole.
