Reina - 6 ,not much to do.
Kelly - 5 ,still struggles with his passing. Again an unconvincing display.
Carragher - 7 ,good solid defending.
Skrtel - 7 ,good solid defending.
Enrique - 8, controled his flank with a great pass to build first goal.
Kuyt - 6 ,just for effort ,should really not start anygames anymore.
Lucas - 7 ,more for his attitude and mentality ,was one of few which played to win.
Adam - 5 ,one great shot that hit the crossbar but should be able to do much more ,again not a convincing display.
Downing - 4 ,his weakest game so far ,a hugh disappointment for me ,his abililty and skills should put him a contender for MOTM everygame but so far only gave us short glimps ,should really take responsiblity and demand the ball. Hate the passanger role he took as of late.
Suarez - 6 ,on the one hand was involved on all game changing actions on the other was very poor with the ball and passing.
Carroll - 6 ,good goal but as long as he doesn't get the passes from Downing and Kuyt/Hendo would be very limited.

Subs
Bellamy (Downing) - 7 ,instant impact ,first team for me.
Gerrard (Adam) - 6 ,open the game when he plays
Henderson (Lucas) - 5 ,not enough time on the pitch.

Dalglish - 5 ,Team mental preperation was poor ,players looked frightened and if it wasn't for the sending off we could have been in quite a mess. Again was slow with the subs....

Skrtel - 7.decent performance from him today.
Enrique - 6.good work for the goal.
Kuyt - 6.bad pen lacked power and inteligence.
Lucas - 8.very good game,broke up a lot of moves and without committing silly fouls.
Adam - 7.unlucky with that stinger off the woodwork.big improvement today.
Downing - 5.in baines pocket all afternoon.
Suarez - 8.worked tirelessly.dogged and harried away and rightly rewarded with a goal.
Carroll - 7.made up for him today.

Subs
Bellamy (Downing) - 7.instant impact.
Gerrard (Adam) - 7.his presence commands respect.
Henderson (Lucas) - n/a.
i was maybe a little generous with 1 or 2.the ref did them unfairly with the rodwell incident but hey we had our own fair share of bad decisions gone against us of late.still a big game changer nonetheless and it took us untill the introduction of gerrrard and bellamy for us to break them down.
good performance but that squad still needs to work hard.

Reina -6- Solid from some of everton's dangerous free kicks, didnt really have to save too many.
Kelly -5- Looked ok defensively but his game going forward needs improvement if he wants to keep johnson out of the squad when he returns. TOuch was often lacking and decision making poor at points.
Carragher -7- Was a machine today, managed to break down the play well, and coped with the aerial threat of Everton on more than one occassion. Could do better in closing down the forward and space.
Skrtel -7- Was dominant aerially, which was really helpful especially in opening 20.
Enrique-8- Was fantastic both when he got forward and defensively. Supplied the cross for the goal. Hasn't quite struck the lethal partnership with Downing as i thought he would, looked more confident with Bellers in front of him on the left side.
Kuyt -6- Run run run and run some more, that is the Kuyt way. Workrate very important to the victory today. Again lacks some quality in offensive situations.
Lucas -6- Was ok, made some tackles, generally neat in passing. Don't think his partnership with Adam is mobile enough against quality opposition, am dreading if the 2 start together against Man U.
Adam -6- Was poor defensively, but he was one of the few players especially in the firts half that looked like creating something. I don't blame him for starting alongside Lucas, but i do think that when the pair start together we can just be too easily outrun in midfield.
Downing -4- Poor on every level, both defensively and offensively. Really left Enrique vulnerable which caused him to hold his defensive position more and not get forward. Went completely missing and didn't run with the ball once the entire game. Now has competition for his place in Bellers.
Suarez -7- Was lively again, still not the best i've ever seen him but took his chance well. Increasingly frustrated as the match went on.
Carroll -7- Did what is expected of a number 9 and provided the breakthrough goal. Link-up play lacking at points but was dangerous off the set piece and i think he will thrive of Gerrard's return into the side.

Subs
Bellamy (Downing) -6- Very lively when introduced, gave the side some much needed pace, and allowed Enrique to bomb forward with his good workrate.
Gerrard (Adam) -6- Still off defensively but going forward looked the same old Gerrard as years before. We really miss his presence and composure in midfield.
Henderson (Lucas) -5- DIdn't have much time but i thought he showed glimpses of what he can do in midfield, which is provide that extra mobility we desperately need. Could be useful off the bench in future games we chase.

Reina - 7 - did everything he needed to do and a clean sheet
Kelly - 6 - passing needs to improve
Carragher - 7 - Solid performance
Skrtel - 7 - Best game this season
Enrique - 7 - Quiet going forward, but did well for the goal and nothing went past him
Kuyt - 7 - worked hard unluckly with a really well placed peno
Lucas - 8 - good game - broke loads of stuff up, another great performance
Adam - 7 - dont know why people dont rate him, amazin shot and great delivery on all set plays
Downing - 6 - Only dissapointment - after a great start to his LFC days he seems to struggle to be involved
Suarez - 7 - bit sloppy with passes but caused the bitters so many problems - dont like him diving though!
Carroll - 7 - did anyone think he wasnt going to score when he finally got a ball delivered to him? Well struck!!!
