Agger (Johnson) - 7 - what can I say, just glad to have him back.

On a side note, Skrtel and Agger must be the most tatoo'ed defensive partnership in football

Doni -  6 - Looked reasonably comfortable till Flanagan dumped him in the *****.
Flanagan - 3 - Was poor from the off and capped it all by costing a team mate his place at Wembley and very nearly the team the match (maybe a bit harsh, I dunno).
Coates - 6 - Looked reasonably comfortable but became very nervous like the rest of the defence as the game wore on.
Skrtel - 8 - Captain's performance and his pass for the first goal was reminiscent of Alonso.
Johnson - 6 - Average performance and was asleep for Yakubu's first (along with Carroll I think).
Henderson - 7 - Didn't do badly at all in an unfamiliar role at RB.
Shelvey - 7 - Probably one of his best performances in the side.
Spearing - 5 - Was he even on the pitch??
Maxi - 8.5 - Took both goals very well and probably would have destroyed their defence if circumstances had allowed.
Bellamy - 7 - Worked hard, cross for Maxi's 1st was exceptional.
Carroll - 8 - Ran his socks off and provided a good outlet to hold ball up as well as getting back and lending a hand. Fully deserved his goal and hopefully he'll kick on from here. Only criticism is that he went to sleep defending the first goal but so did the rest of the defence.

Subs
Jones (Flanagan) - 7 - Looked a bit shaky at times but the sheer guts to be out there after the past few months he and his family has had gets my respect.
Agger (Johnson) - 7 - Brought his trademark steel to the defence but it still wasn't enough to stop the nerves jangling.
Enrique (Maxi) - 5 - Gone completely off the boil since Christmas.

Looking at the state of Bellamy and Shelvey as well I'm starting to wonder if we've got a tattoo parlour at Melwood.

Doni - 4 - Rarely seen someone look so gutted in a game upon receiving his red card.
Flanagan - 3 Poor and will need to work on his awareness (Booked as well after getting caught)
Coates - 5  Looked a little unsure and distribution not good at times)
Skrtel - 7  Pass of the match to put Bellamy in acres....
Johnson - 7 Worked hard
Henderson - 7 One of his better games
Shelvey - 8 Massive work rate and got better and better
Spearing - 8 Love the litle fella. Surprising how much he wins in the air as well.
Maxi - 8 Constant threat, 2 goals and rarely gave the ball away.
Bellamy - 8 Quick, direct and gobby as usual !
Carroll - 7 Determined and just where you want him for the winner

Doni - 5 ,looks avarage ,not at fault for the sending off.
Flanagan - 3 ,had high hopes for the lad he really fcked it all tonigh ,almost caused us the game.

Skrtel - 7 ,looks much more comfertable with Carra on the bench.
Johnson - 6 ,ups and downs ,some good runs forward and some sloppy defending ,shouldn't be allowed to play at our side of the pitch.
Henderson - 6 ,little rabbit running his socks off ,was pretty ok
Shelvey - 7 ,very good game ,very active good field vision ,should start over Hendo everytime
Spearing - 6 ,solid
Maxi - 8 ,perfect excution
Bellamy - 6 ,some good runs forward a bit selfish.
Carroll - 7 ,good game and excellent reward ,held the ball well.

Jones (Flanagan) - 4 ,Joke of a penalty he gave away ,looks hysterical.
Agger (Johnson) - 7 ,we are a totl different team with him playing.
Enrique (Maxi) - 5 ,declining....

Doni - 5 nuff said
Flanagan - 3 looked shakey as hell
Coates - 6...a few great tackles which gives the indication there is a top player in there somewhere
Skrtel - 8..for me in the top 3 centre backs in the league now
Johnson - 6...didnt do much wrong, didnt do much right
Henderson - 7...tidier than normal and looked up for it, still to see a 20 million pound player in there though
Shelvey - 7.5......the future, just needs to be nurtured right
Spearing - 7.... poor mans mascherano is the best you can put it
Maxi - 8....should play more cause most of our wide men dont score shittttt
Bellamy - 8.5........how you can still be that fast at 32 is freakish
Carroll - 8.......the old carthorse was good last night, but sadly will be dropped for fa cup, which does him no good
