Inconsistent FC - Should that be are new name?

We are a shambles away from home. How we can go from playing brilliant against JUVENTUS and then lose to Manchester City.

Young Carson put in a solid display by the sound of things, just we have no threat upfront away from home, Garcia is nothing compared to what he is at home, Morientes has done nothing since joining us(yes, i will give him time) Is it due to injuries or is this just generally down to s***e away form?

Why is it that after every game there always has to be a scapegoat? Morientes has done nothing? Well he has been injured and has played in games where our midfield has done nothing and therefore he's done nothing.

He can't pass the ball to himself or create chances for himself the whole ninety minutes, the midfield has that job to do which they didn't do today along with many other games where we've lost.

i.e. When we faced Charlton our team was great, we played for one another and the midfield created chances for themselves and the forwards, the game in where Morientes scored. Same thing happened when we played against Fulham.

However when our midfield goes missing it's hard for strikers to feed the ball to themselves. I think we missed Milan's ability to win cornerns and free-kicks today, his finishing could use a lot of work but he causes problems for the opposition.

If you read it properly I said I would give him time!

Do you think a top quality striker should have only scored 2goals in 9 do you?

Yes, maybe it is because of the midfield but there is more to it than that.

If your gonna give him time, why are you already passing judgement?

He could have given away a penalty. The guy is 33 for ****** sake. Carson was excellent but the team collectively was a shambles. Bring back Sami...

in my opinion, one decent game from sami and one poor game from pellegrino should be enough for sami to be back in the starting 11.

Did I miss something or is there something wrong with moving the ball up field with short- semi long passes.

Was appalled to see the midfielders passing back to the defenders
defenders passing all the way up to the strikers and the strikers losing the ball to the defenders,,,,over and over again,,,
reminds me of last year,,,,,

when we pass and move we have possession and create more chances on goal, any striker needs that service,,,,,

It's pretty simple, 4 defenders against 2 strikers, why would we bother firing the ball all the way up field with such a poor ratio,,,?

we are missing creativity from midfield, our strikers are feeding off scraps at the moment. hopefully the return of xavi alonso will help. we need a wide man in the robben / ronaldo mould that can take a man on and drag other defenders to him.
john barnes was a revelation when he first came and played on the left wing and created chances galore for aldridge, we need someone like that to swing crosses in for morientes, baros and cisse.
we mustn`t forget the injuries, they really have scuppered us this season.
