I have just read in a paper on the way to work (only the cheapo metro thats free on the train) Parry stating that it was UEFA's fault just giving us that amount of tickets but then he also stated BY HOOK OR BY CROOK LIVERPOOL FANS WILL FIND TICKETS.

That statement to me proves that they (the club) have just thought f'ck them, we know how comitted they are, they will still be there, with or without our help.

Here is the proof of the fact that the tickets have been misappropriated.

If you dont have time to read the thread, heres the breakdown.

A couple of tech heads wrote a program to enter EVERY fan card number in circulation inot the "checker" that the club put online.

The results:

4000 pre qualified with 7 or more credits (actual figure from study 3008)
6872 where succesful in the ballot
22601 where not succesful in the ballot
149828 where not elligible

Therefore 4000 + 6872 = 10872 allocated to fans leaves 5907 (from 16779 allocation from UEFA) passed round the club, players, staff and suits.

This also does not account for corporate season tickets. If they where part of the succesful 6872 then even less went into the ballot.

Total disgrace.

If the club would have been transparent in the first place, and would have given all the info requested, nobody should have done a script like that

This is what you ask to the site so that he tells you if you're lucky. Since apparently they do not request passwords for this, making a scripts that checks by brute force all the numbers is very easy.

It's better to tell off the truth from the beginning, this is well deserved. Thanks for the info Leon

yeah he said that on SSN as well.
i think hes just saying that he knows the liverpool fans will go there, so why not give us the left over milan tickets to stop the touts...

ACTUAL STATEMENT-in METRO today

PARRY : UEFA must look at the way they allocate tickets for future finals.
There will be 40,000 of our fans in the ground by hook or by crook so wouldnt it be better to give us the tickets and let us distribute them ?

Thats all it says...apologies if that statement has been posted with other links, i just think it basically admits they know the fans will pay over the odds and do all they can to get there so they (the club) havent worried or cared enough to distribute the tickets to the people who deserve them because in his own words......they will be there by hook or by crook anyway ! :angry:

The allocation of the 17,000 is the only issue the club is responsible for and I agree that should be done on a fair and equitable basis upon whatever reasonable rules the clubs deems fit.

After that, its a UEFA bureauratic nightmare and believe me, the tickets will leak back into circulation and into the right hands but when UEFA promises the Norwegian federation 250 tickets, they cant ultimately control what happens to those tickets. Genuine fans lose out but just like the cheapest way to get to Athens, thats left to their ingenuity.

Hey lads, its w@nkers like these above that corrupt the system you're complaining about - unofficial tickets. Thats why we've only got 17,000 instead of 25-30,000. HOW have they got tickets so easily outside of the system?? Think about it.......

How do you know they're not forgeries either FFS?

We're spinning unknown tickets from unknown venders on our own website...............??

i think most of the tickets being banded about on here are wums fakes or tickets won in the UEFA ballot, no doubt there after ripping us off just like UEFA officails will be doing when the fans get to Athens

Christians – Pray for Liverpool for the Champion Final!!

I found a great website were you can light a candle from the Holy land for who ever you want and watch the ceremony LIVE in Video!
I asked lighting a candle for Liverpool and I saw LIVE the Priest from Nazareth saying a pray for the success of our team.

I believe that if many fans will do the same God will help us.
