Here's what really happened.

Gerrard said he wanted to leave, once he did he went back home. Open the door of his house, walked through the hallway and slipped. He hurt his head, he turned on the tv and saw Sky Sports reporting what he decided half an hour ago. Gerrard couldn't believe what he saw, to himself he said "What the feck am I doing?".

He called his agent and told him that he's going to stay and not leave the best club on the planet.
