Another omen possibly?

Prefer us in the red than anything else.

I was checking our Champions League records which you may have to wait and see a full analysis and report on if you check out lfchistory.net . Anyway in our five Champions League campaigns we've played Italians five times and have a record as below

Liverpool vs Italian Clubs (Champions League)

P5 W3 D2 L0 F7 A4

2004/5 AC Milan 3-3 Liverpool (won on penalties)
2004/5 Liverpool 2-1 Juventus
2004/5 Juventus 0-0 Liverpool
2001/2 Liverpool 2-0 Roma
2001/2 Roma 0-0 Liverpool

English Clubs vs Italian Clubs (Champions League 92/3-06/7)

P49 W20 D15 L14 F77 A47

Fingers crossed our record remains intact

Delighted we're wearing red, thought they might've opted for their home jersey, seen as we beat them wearing red the last time.

milan get to decide what shirt they play in, as they are drafted as the "home" team.
milan prefered to play in the white strip because they feel it is good luck...pfft...wasn't so lucky in 2005! :p
