Was milan mad?

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby marcus.c » Tue Mar 22, 2005 6:13 am

What was Milan Baros thinking, when he went in recklessly with his studs high? His stupidity could have cost us the game. I feel that was pure fustration from the Czech. He was lacking in confidence after missing two clear-cut chances. And I am wondering whether is this the same Baros that we saw in Euro 2004? His finishing was terrible, with no sense of direction at all. Where is the predatory instincts? Aimar would be a good replacement for Baros. With Aimar playing below Cisse and Morientes, we should see a flow of goals. To me, Baros is just not good enough as a striker.

The lad was frustrated after seeing half the team get kicked off the park, not to mention the fact that whenever an Everton player committed a foul, some on par or worse than Baros', they received a slap on the wrist without a yellow.

The game, due to abysmal refereeing, could have really turned ugly had the right players reacted to certain circumstances. The game was already a powder keg, it didn't need some soft, timid referee to act as a spark.

Dont know what all the fuss is about? Ok he deserved to be shown red but i still believe he didnt mean to catch Stubbs as bad as he did. Personally i couldnt have give two s***s if he had finished Stubbs career anyway as he is a bitter t**t.

Baros was certainly coward enough to hide in the changing room after the game when he knows that stubbs was looking for him.... A coward like him doesn't deserve a place!
