Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby anfieldadorer » Sat Aug 20, 2005 5:39 am

I hate posting on this bl00dybastard, but here he goes again

"Gerrard is a great player and we want an English core very much," Mourinho told The Times.

"We normally play a midfield triangle and you can imagine that Gerrard and (Frank) Lampard, with (Claude) Makelele just behind them as protection, could be a very strong team but I think it is Gerrard's loss more than Chelsea's.

"Why? Because Chelsea have good solutions. A good team with the conditions to improve and a club which will be one of the best in the world in a short period of time.

"So when he decides not to join this club, I think it will be a loss for him, for his career.

"He can say 'I was European champion at Liverpool' and I have to say that is correct.

"But I can say to him in the next 10 years we will compare trophies at Chelsea and trophies at Liverpool. And he will lose."

Prem in 50 years f*ck off, Steven Gerrard and Didi Hamann have won more tropheys all together than chelsea have players meaning about 100. :D

Its not the 19th century anymore. Well, in fact, I live in Hong Kong and I probably get overseas news as quick as you guys do.

Stop ribbing the guy - he has the papers delivered to his mud-hut in the outback every 4 weeks - he probably thinks the Chelsea squad are all still happy   :eyebrow

Looks like now there are so many newbies around now, eh?
Welcome and happy posting

Another news on mrs maureen:

“I don't care about Liverpool,” the Chelsea manager said. “For me it's one more game in the Champions League and before that we have to play Anderlecht.

“Our group is dangerous not because of Liverpool but because of Betis and Anderlecht.
