I like 4-4-2. The second striker being a Luis Garcia type.

Thats my personal choice. With good wide players.

One thing that enfuriated me about Houlliers teams is how narrow they used to play. I like Benitez style as he seems to want our players to use all the width they can.

If you'd posted this last year, i'd have agreed, but not now with the personel being so different.

I agree with Stu, the only way too go is 4-4-2, and then if you need varitions within that that is fine.

I think playing with the second striker is very advantegeous as it pulls defenders out of position.

I don't like Garcia in midfield, if he plays on the right tommorow, Josemi will get slaughtered all by himself. I like Garcia of a main striker were his little touches and passes will be most productive and he will get the licence to roam.

The right side has been somewhat problamatic this year, hopefully Nunez can prove the solution.

It will be propably be a 4-5-1 or 4-4-1-1 formation that Rafa uses this Saturday as he has used them with Valencia. Hopefully it will work out with us.

I do not understand why there is such pessamism after something doesn't go our way.
