Either way, I can't believe anyone is seriously suggesting we sell Hyypia.

F*cking madness.  :no

No - I f*cking well wouldn't.

Sami is the best commanding cb in the Premiership - NO-ONE can touch him in the air.

We don't NEED pace at the back.

We NEED aerial dominance.

Besides - Richards is a f*cking rightback.

His reading of the game is lightyears ahead of everyone else in that position, but as you say - it means nothing to some people.

Hyypia could still play when he's 40 if he steers clear of injuries.

He's NEVER had pace - something lost on many people.

it has nothing to do with his pace

sami is a legend and i have nothing but respect for the man but i feel the time is right to move on as he is past his best

agger has shown how good he is and i feel him and carra are the way forward
with richards and palletta for back up

Richards is a rightback mate.

And Sami isn't past his best - he's just not able to cover everyone elses errors up like he used to as we now play a higher line.

For Sami's supposed "loss of form/ability" - see who is playing leftback, and where said leftback is everytime Sami is exposed.

That's right - miles out of position.

listen lando i aint saying sami is a bad player he is still top draw
im just saying if the money is available i personally would sell sami and replace him with somebody i see as a future england centreback ( witch is his natural position )
if this is not possible i would be far from gutted to keep sami

and i agree with you on the left back situation :D

Fair enough mate, but if we've got all that money - why not buy Richards and KEEP Sami?

He could teach any player things.

Sami Hyypia is the best player in the Liverpools defence. He is better than Carragher, Finnan, Riise, Aurelio etc.

I can't believe some people are suggesting replacing him with Daniel Agger. Agger is a good player but he's nowhere near Sami's level.

So what if his age isn't on his side? Theres more pressing matters than replacing one of the top 5 centre halfs in the league.

Richards while being a good prospect is extremely overated. He's a good player and physically advanced for his age but he isn't what i would call class by any stretch of the imagination.

Keep Hyypia for sure!
Get rid of Zenden.
Aurellio and Gonzalez can either buff up or get shipped back to S. America, they are too week for the english game and won't make the cut.

Sign Alves, Klose, Richards, they are all class.

I agree lando, sami could teach any young defender a thing or three

But would we be able to keep 5 centrebacks happy?
if so i would be all for keeping him

just to throw a spanner in the works guys, what does it matter who we sell, we may as well sell them all and buy new players as the ones we have have not been able to win the league
