. Well I have to say unless they were carrying injuries Rafa should have maybe started with Torres, Riera and Alonso as effectivley he is just resting them for the Spain game in which they will all surley play anyway.

Alonso is carrying a small knock. Torres most likely a precautionary measure given the kicks and bumps he received against everton.

No idea why Riera has been rested.

Regardless, this just shows that our squad depth is quite poor.
