Now this guy I have heard of  :D

Apparently he has been recommended by the former Huddersfield boss (Wagner) who is klopp's best mate.

Kabak was highly rated last season.  Pretty sure he was the rookie of the year or something in the league. Hopefully he recaptures that form and makes a big impression.

Schalke is at the bottom of Bundesliga while we're in the hunt for PL and CL...I hoped we have unearthed a Robbo-esq kind of player. While he's is still young and lots to learn, there are no better place than here in front of the Best Keeper in the World with the Best Centreback, Best Right back and Best Left back alongside him

So we get a couple of months to take a good look at him before deciding if we want to pull trigger on a perm deal. Sounds good to me. Only 20 but he's had a couple of seasons in the Bundesliga having gone over from Turkey. Looks pretty good in the air which is handy with van Djik not available.

With any luck, he's put a nasty habit of spitting on players firmly behind him

I just hope him and the other lad just get the basics right. We really need Hendo/Fab in the middle.

With Matip our X2 CB were needed.. Trust in Klopp and hope these lads turn out to be good.

With Matip out for the rest of the season I wonder what is the plan at CB.

Will Klopp keep Fab there when his back and either Kabak or Davies will pair with Fab??

I guess it all depends how these lads perform.

We also have Phillips who hasen't been terrible either.

Anyway, welcome to the club to this young lad. We signed him from a team from the bottom of the German league but he's only 20 and has showen potential that he can be a good player. Even Virgil matured at about 25, so there's plenty of time for growth for young Kabak.

He's young at 20 to be a CB which is a very mature football playing position. He's also plain young. Williams is 19, Phillips 23 and now this lad at 20. Seems we've bought a body to throw to the lions rather than a calculated purchase.

I know it's only YouTube highlights and consequently it'll be his better moments BUT the fella does look promising.

I know Shalke are struggling a bit but even so to be playing week in week out as a CB for a side in the top flight of German football at 20 takes a bit of doing.
This lad looks physically strong, committed and brave, although not the tallest he’s apparently good in the air too, He looks like the type of lad you want in the trenches with you.
Liverpool fans have always loved those run through a brick wall types who wear their hearts on their sleeve like Emlyn,Tommy Smith etc so welcome to the club lad.
