Well im absolutly  gutted cos im not gonna be ther now.
My own stupid fault i had a day off work and ended up in ozzie

I went to watch a local school play in the cup and with it being a semi they needed an official ref and two lines men who were qualified well ref turns up with one linesman so 1 short .

The pe teacher who i know asked me would i run the line as he knew that id got my badges and i would be immpartial . So soft  me volenteers. 15 mins before the end of the game goes to kick the ball back to one of the players and  me there was a divet a  divet in the grass my foot got caught and over i went with me going one way and my knee going the other (thank god i had jeans on an not a skirt or the kids would have been traumatised)

Anyway ive torn my cartlige and damaged the ligaments in the back of my knee and im on crutches:angry: Worst bit is i was still gonna go the game but the surgeons have said ive got to go back tommorrow for another scan when i told them im going the match they thought i was an idiot and said have to rest my leg. for the swelling to go down

This is one angry nan tonight im absolutly inconsolable at the mo. might be able to get my head round it a bit better tomorow

Anyway if i could pick my team id have to go with Cool Hand Luke on this one id like to see Stevie out on the right tomorrow with Lucas in the middle impressed me against Newcastle looked confortable on the ball and didnt shirk a tackle .

Hope you are soon better Nanny and your swelling soon goes down (may take Bamaga's swelling a bit longer to go down but thats another story :D ) Better to be safe than sorry and to rest your knee. Put some cumfrey (knitbone) on it.

I am confident we will win this game, although I think it will be a hard fought win. I was upset to hear that Agger has had a set back on his road to recovery and just hope its not too serious, but at least Benayoun seems to have made good progress.

Whats your problem dikhead

I didnt mean no offence, I just thought it funny what you put, in another thread nanny herself joked about how she is looking for sympathy. Im sorry if you thought otherwise.

No problems then, I gave what sympathy I could without trying to come on to her, but she will have to be careful, as even I could catch her now with her bad leg. :D

I think Rafa will take a few chances with this game and go at Porto from the off. Early goal will be vital, to settle the players, and fans down after recent events. I think we may win this one the hard way a nerve wracking 1 -0

I think this is the way to go..maybe but Benayoun (if he is fit) or Lucas on the right...but otherwise I would go with this.
