Last one was Redknapp, the first will be either McMahon or Hooper, which he signed in the first few months of his first season.

Last one was Redknapp. Before that Jimmy Carter, Steve Harkness and Don Hutchinson.

McMahon and Redknapp I'd say
1) You'll Never Walk Alone
2) pass and move is the Liverpool groove
3) FIRST WILL ALWAYS BE FIRST AND SECOND WILL ALWAYS BE NOTHING.
4) If Torres has scored 60 league goals for Liverpool by the start of the 2011/12 season, I'll say he's better than Owen.

I remember Kenny before he played for Liverpool he played in the home ineternationals in 1977 he was a celtic player then but apparently and to my everlasting surprise was a Rangers fan from childhood.  Rangers and apparently the great Bill Shankly passed him over. When he was 16. This is all the anorak upstairs.  Micahel Thomas has got a mention he was signed in December 1991 but the anorak Suggests Speedie because speedie (who I have to say confirmed to me that Kenny was losing the plot) signed in late January or early February. Jammie Redknapp was maybe late January , I suspect however this is a trick question in which case your probably looking for a rare talent such as the wonderful Jimmy Carter now who but sad old me remembers him. A Biscanite.  I sometimes love my own ability a Biscanite now theres a real term to use for talentless LFC players Who are Biscanites at the moment?

I think Jimmy Carter was more Dundee-ish.

Who did we beat in the FA Cup quarter final of that most glorious of
seasons - 1986.
Image
Matt McQueen - Liverpool 1892-1928.
Only professional to - play in goal (41 appearances), Defence, Midfield, Striker, and later be Director and then to be Manager (winning a Championship) - at one club

Didi is correct, Markus Babbel isn't. And no Watford was the quater finals, Southampton was the semi final and of course Everton in the final.
