Fernando, your enthusiasm is a joy to behold, but think before you post a prayer to Rafa with a link for EVERY player that seems to be on the market/decent/average.
Jari Litmanen is just far too old I'm afraid, We had him and we never used him and so we lost out, if I could turn the clock back a few years ago I would make sure he was in starting line up for every single game, but that was then and this is now, his career is pretty much on it's ends, plus Liverpool should be signing younger and better players if we are ever going to challenge for the Premiership.
I would bring Jari Litmanen back to the club in a coaching capacity and let him work with the young players in the squad. The guy is a legend and would be an asset
he would be an excellent coach, very intelligent footballer but have the feeling he wants to play 1 more year.....wouldn't be surprised if he went to Bolton.
“You cannot transfer the heart and soul of Liverpool Football Club, although I am sure there are many clubs who would like to buy it.”

Fenando, you are a either a deranged fool or a deliberate wind-up merchant. In a time of little or no newsworthy stories, you still find the inspiration to start threads by the dozen. Unfortunately, if the relavent and interesting bits of all of them were added together and converted into sand, they would amount to roughly one grain. The forum is poorer for this grapeshot approach IMHO. If you really think that signing an aged Lettmanen would be a good move, then just add it on to your next retort as a "and by the way". I suspect that Reina may not be the answer to our goalkeeping problems, that Zenden may be a waste of a hefty salary and that Jamie Carragher may have been better advised to have gone for cravattes rather than conventional ties at his wedding but I don't start three threads on it do I?.
