How about a bit of trivia

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby ROBtheRED » Wed Jan 28, 2004 12:52 am

i've gone for a bit of an FA cup theme here. . .

1.  Since 1960 which team has knocked us out of the FA cup most times?

2.  Who are the only 2 Liverpool players to have scored goals at the "tunnel" end in FA cup finals?

3.  Which player scored most goals during Liverpools successful 2001 FA cup run?

4.  Can you name the 3 teams since 1990 who have knocked us out the FA cup in the 3rd round?

5.  Who was the only English-born player in the 1986 FA cup winning 1st eleven?

Nice one Leo!   4 out of 5

Heskey was the top FA cup scorer in 2000/2001 season with 5 goals.

As you rightly say in the 65 cup final Hunt scored after 93 mins in extra time (at the tunnel end) and St john scored the winner after 113 mins after the teams had changed ends after 105 mins!
