Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Morning Folks...
Had to start with an apology, so I beg for your forgiveness. Brought the oul fella over to Manure at the w/e for a Crimbo pressie. HE was delighted; I wasn't really arsed, truth be told.
BUT....I have a big favour to ask (all of ye !). I'm hoping to get to Anfield next month for a home game, but am not a season ticket holder. Can I pay on the day folks ? Just lookin' for a cheap and cheerful ticket, not too expensive.....Thing is, it's expensive with flights, trains, taxis and hotels to come over more than a few times a year, so anything to keep the cost down.....Hell, I'll even fly Ryanair !!
Thanks lads (and lassies) - all help gratefully received

I would suggest getting a fancard for a start .

The Sheff Utd game should be ok to get a ticket with a fancard.

Also the Old Trafford thing worries me. I am getting 2 tickets for some Feyenood fans on here , but you went to Old Trafford - seems you looking for a day out rather than to support your team ???

I would advise that you :

TRY READING THIS PAGE

then you should :

READ THIS PAGE FOR THE APPLICATION DATES FOR TICKETS

or failing that you could always try the late availability line.

Do you think its worth just having a sticky thread for ticket info and FAQ's??

It saves us lot having to post the same stuff every other week.

Apology accepted Rafa-Dodd.....the old man is a footie-fanatic. Can regale you with tales of little known players from way back who - as he says - were "fantastic footballers"... :)
For example, on the whirlwind tour thru middle England, he was tellin' me about some bloke from Northern Ireland (I think !) who used to play for Doncaster Rovers. News to me - I never heard of ANYBODY good playing for them, but there you go....
Anyway gents, ta for the suggestion. Hopefully gonna make it for at least one - maybe three ! - games before the end of the season....

If you're serious, try PMing Dalglish.  He's the man when it comes to sorting out tickets for people.  He's a good fella, if he can genuinely help you, he will.

I've known him to get me a few tickets in my time, and Woollyback, Scott and BigMick can vouch for him as well, no doubt he's helped more members than the ones I've listed as well.
