F it was your missus - How would you feel.

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Right then - Your missus comes up to you on Wednesday night and says
" I don't love you, I've found another fella, he's got more money than you, He's going places and he's better in bed than you" and then says " I'm leaving at 12 noon on Monday"

You try and talk her out of it but she sticks  to it all over the weekend and even lets your mates  know.

10 to 12 monday morning she turns around and says-
"I've changed me mind and I'm staying"

Tell the truth - could YOU get a hard on ?

Steven Gerrard- Do you realise what you've done ?

Will it EVER be the same???

Depend's on how good looking she is i suppose!

In this case, Steve is the heart and soul of our club. I forgive him.

His performances last season were a reflection of the heart and soul of the club.
NO player will EVER be the heart and soul of LIVERPOOL. No matter how good they were/are/will be.

I don't remember Gerrard ever actually saying he was leaving.

I think I can just about give him the benefit of the doubt in this one.

He was, after all, away with all the 'lovies' and cut adrift from reality.  He obviously believed all the hype he was being fed.  Thankfully though his aarrl fella Paul and a few of Ste Gerrard's mates reminded him about who he is, where he comes from and where his allegiances should lie.

This appears to have stopped his thoughts about wandering........for now.

I thought about this ever since i watched that press conference with Stevie and Parry! I fear the worst if he shows a dip in form because the snipers will be out in force to get him! Personally i say lets try and put this all in the past but i think that some supporters might not be able to do this?

I'm delighted that Stevie decided to stay but if Arsenal sell Vieira to Madrid (and this time Madrid seem really determined to get their man) then you just know who the newspapers will turn their attention to when Wenger has £30m in his back pocket.

Can we have a reality check here ??? Its more calamatous if your partner thinks about leaving and then stays..because they've probably fallen out of love with you... and the doibts have set-in :(

Football players often support one team yet play for another...  its not the be all and end all... 'Perspective' is an important word in the naff example you've given..Get A Grip  :p

Hi Zara.

John Bull's a decent fella but was convinced Stevie was going and to be honest he was right until the U-turn.

It's been suggested he shouldn't pay up due to Hustler's well documented comments on "Wayne Rooney and the Sun" thread and his comments regarding Liverpool as a city but as i said in another post you don't question the morality of the bookmaker when your placing a bet :p

Anyway looks like John is going to honour the bet as he has far more honour and dignity than the Hustler ???
